Employer Is Taking Out Withholdings Despite No SSN Being Given

illegal and the employer must compensate the withholdings immediately or face
legal action if no Social Security Number (SSN) was given. A Form W-2 with a missing SSN should have
no withholdings taken out because if deductions do occur then the funds will
not be recoverable due to the missing SSN.
