How To Place Airplane or Aircraft Into Irrevocable Trust
One can place an airplane into an irrevocable trust using AC Form 8050-1. The FAA states that the aircraft must be registered in the name of a trustee of a trust. Further, requirements for citizenship of the trustee and beneficiaries are also to be shown (e.g. Government ID, Passport, or Birth Certificate). The trustee then registers the aircraft with the FAA by supplying a certified copy of the trust instrument / indenture, an ink-signed Bill Of Sale from the previous owner to the trustee(s), and the registration fee.
