The lender would only deny one if the process was only executed on the credit reporting agency. If the process has been done to completion where the original creditor or debt collector has removed all record of the debt, the same card can be obtained once again. Again, a lawsuit must be brought against for the following violation (see Who to Sue & What For) and choose only (1) from the many reasons available. After, a notice will be sent to the banking bureaus, credit bureaus and original creditor that the debt should no longer shall exist in their systems. After this, it is as if the credit line never existed - and one may re-apply for the same credit card the next day. If one applies for that same credit line after and is denied - injury per FCRA ยง 623 has occurred, resulting in a $1000 penalty.
