Where Will Funds Be Returned For Closed Credit Card Account

In most cases, the bank will redirect the refund to one's new or replacement card. If there is no new card, the bank will usually send the refund directly to one's bank account. If one does not have a bank account with the issuing creditor then they will likely just send a check by mail. Be sure to call them to confirm the address before it is sent. Please be aware, returns cannot be generated outside the original payment method due to PCI regulations and reporting required by the government.
